Horsewell Equine Rehab is situated on the Richardson's farm in Te Awamutu, in the heart of the Waikato. There is a 1000m all weather sand training track, 35m x 60m sand dressage arena, 4 outdoor covered yards, 5 indoor stables, large colt pen, dedicated treatment stable, various small paddocks and large paddocks.
All horses that are taken in for rehab must have been seen by a qualified veterinarian prior to arriving at the Horsewell clinic. These horses receive the best possible care, which includes, massage, laser and magnetic therapy, specialised wound treatments and if needed gentle exercise. Injuries such as bowed tendons, strained ligaments, wounds and post operative care are taken very seriously at Horsewell and we strive to get your horses health back on track as soon as possible.
